House Groups
House Groups are the core of our church community. They serve as an avenue for discipleship and encouraging one another onto good deeds. We normally share a dinner together, and then we have the rest of the evening for prayer, teaching, Bible study, discussion, and worship.
Everyone is encouraged to get involved in these evenings of fellowship. Currently, we have two ongoing Wednesday evening House Groups: one that meets in the West Loop area and one that meets at the church center. Be sure to inquire when you visit about meeting times and locations, or simply email the church office. (Events)
Alpha
Are you searching for answers to the real meaning of life? The Alpha course is a chance to explore the relevance of the Christian faith in our lives today. Alpha is a practical 10-week introduction to the basics of Christianity presented in a relaxed, non-threatening environment. The Alpha class format is informal, friendly and fun. Each week people will meet in a small group setting for a meal and discussion on topics such as "Who is Jesus?"; "Why did Jesus Die?"; and "How Can I Make the Most of The Rest of My Life?"
"I thought the Alpha course did a great job in covering essential topics about what Christianity encompasses. Every week there was either a speaker or a video that we would listen to or watch and then discuss from there. The evening meetings created a safe place where the group had great conversations that were open and allowed for questions. Plus, the meals were awesome!! I truly grew from my experience at Alpha-I think this is a great class for people of all levels of faith to take-from those who are just starting their Christian walk to those who have grown up with Jesus Christ as their Lord." - Ashley
"The Alpha course was a safe and non-threatening environment that gave us the opportunity to learn about God's word and ask questions when we didn't understand." - Denise

Whether you're new to Christianity, curious about the faith or just looking to "brush up" on the Christian basics, the Alpha course has something to offer you. For more details please email the church office.

Children's Church
Children of all ages get to learn Bible lessons, play games, and make crafts together while their parents stay in the sanctuary for the sermon. Children aged 4 and younger are welcome to register for Children's Church at 10:15 AM. Children aged 5 and older join in the service and then are released to their class before the sermon.
