John 4:7-21 - '7
Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever
loves has been born of God and knows God. 8
Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love. 9
In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent
his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him. 10
In this is love, not that we d God but that he loved us and sent his
Son to be the propitiation for our sins. 11
Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. 12
No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God abides
in us and his love is perfected in us.
13 By this we know that we abide in him and he in us, because
he has given us of his Spirit. 14
And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son to be
the Savior of the world. 15
Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him,
and he in God. 16 So we have
come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love,
and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him. 17
By this is love perfected with us, so that we may have confidence
for the day of judgment, because as he is so also are we in this world.
18 There is no fear in love,
but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment,
and whoever fears has not been perfected in love. 19
We love because he first loved us. 20
If anyone says, "I love God," and hates his brother, he
is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen cannot
love God whom he has not seen. 21
And this commandment we have from him: whoever loves God must also
love his brother.'

John 5:1-3 - '1 Everyone
who believes that Jesus is the Christ has been born of God, and everyone
who loves the Father loves whoever has been born of him.
2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we
love God and obey his commandments. 3
For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments. And his
commandments are not burdensome.'

John 3:23-24 - '23 And this
is his commandment, that we believe in the name of his Son Jesus Christ
and love one another, just as he has commanded us. 24
Whoever keeps his commandments abides in God, and God in him. And
by this we know that he abides in us, by the Spirit whom he has given
us.'

Timothy 1:5 - '5 The aim
of our charge is love that issues from a pure heart and a good conscience
and a sincere faith.'
Ephesians
3:14-19 - '14 For this reason
I bow my knees before the Father, 15
from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named, 16
that according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened
with power through his Spirit in your inner being, 17
so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith—that you,
being rooted and grounded in love, 18
may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth
and length and height and depth, 19
and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that
you may be filled with all the fullness of God.'

Thessalonians 1:3-5 - '3
We ought always to give thanks to God for you, brothers, as is right,
because your faith is growing abundantly, and the love of every one
of you for one another is increasing. 4
Therefore we ourselves boast about you in the churches of God for
your steadfastness and faith in all your persecutions and in the afflictions
that you are enduring. 5 This
is evidence of the righteous judgment of God, that you may be considered
worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you are also suffering—

Corinthians 13:1-3 - '1
If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love,
I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. 2
And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all
knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but
have not love, I am nothing. 3
If I give away all I have, and if I deliver up my body to be burned,
but have not love, I gain nothing.'

Thessalonians 5:8 - '8 But
since we belong to the day, let us be sober, having put on the breastplate
of faith and love, and for a helmet the hope of salvation.'
Jude
1:17-21 - '17 But you must
remember, beloved, the predictions of the apostles of our Lord Jesus
Christ. 18 They said to you,
"In the last time there will be scoffers, following their own
ungodly passions." 19 It
is these who cause divisions, worldly people, devoid of the Spirit.
20 But you, beloved, building
yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit,
21 keep yourselves in the love
of God, waiting for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ that leads
to eternal life.'
Ephesians
5:1-2 - '1 Therefore be
imitators of God, as beloved children.
2 And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up
for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.'
